Operating in downtown Manassas, they offer a variety of resources, including entrepreneurs, consultants, freelancers, start-ups, satellite workers, contractors, and independent professionals.
Community Business Partnership (CBP) provides education, technical assistance, business incubation services, access to capital, and networking opportunities. Created in 1995, Community Business Partnership (CBP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization working in collaboration with a number of local, regional, and national organizations to promote small business growth in our communities.
The Mason Enterprise Centers (MEC) are university-based economic development enterprises that focus the energy, skills, and intellectual capital of George Mason University on enterprise creation and expansion. MECs provide business owners throughout the region with access to faculty, students, alumni, researchers, information sources, inventions, and other resources required to help them expand their businesses, improve their organizations, and strengthen the regional economy. A few examples of MECs include MEC-Fairfax, MEC-Leesburg, and MEC-Fauquier.
The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is a strong advocate for the business community in the Washington, DC Metropolitan region. They put great effort into creating an environment where businesses and people thrive. They focus their efforts on the key areas of business growth, economic development, advocacy, education, and community outreach in order to build a solid foundation for the success of their business members and our community.
Virginia PTAC’s mission is to “Help business do business with government,” both federal and state/local. The services cover the full range of information, from the very basics for newcomers (FAR, FBO, SAM, DSBS, and more) to WOSB, SDVOSB, GSA schedules application, 8(a) certification, and more. Virginia PTAP helps clients understand how to analyze and respond to RFPs, the advantages of priming and subcontracting opportunities, and assists with more intricate company-specific challenges including pricing and compliance questions.
